Clothes and dress code at Nagasaki Casino

Usually, at the large IR facilities in casino cities like Las Vegas and Macau and small casinos, there’s no clothing check at the entrance, so we can mostly enter casinos freely in terms of clothing, also it will be very rare if you are asked to be aware of what you wear in casinos.

However, beach sandals, slippers, short pants, tank tops and such resort style rough clothing are not prohibited, but we should be aware from a manners point of view when going into a casino, just a general casual style will be no problem (like long trousers and sneakers).

I think Nagasaki Casino will be the same when entering the casino.

Also, because Nagasaki Casino is in the Kyushu region, the air conditioner will be set quite cold inside especially in the summer, so it’s good idea to bring a long sleeve top.

In terms of hats and cameras, other country’s casinos do sometimes have restrictions and they ask you to leave them at the reception, so the best way would be to leave those with the clerk before going into the casino.

* At some casinos in Europe, they charge you about 1 EUR to leave items with the clerk.

At the same time, some European casinos like in Italy and Austria have dress codes like a jacket and long trousers for men and a casual or better style being aware of manners for women, so if you turn up with no jacket, then you would have to rent a jacket for about 5 EUR at the reception.

However, Japan is an Asian country, so there’s no possibility we will have an exact dress code that is required.

Other than that, there are some casinos in Europe that have a notice at the door saying no guns and no pets, but common sense in Japan is likely to be the approach, so there will be no need to apply that.
